In an effort to make tax payments more convenient for the citizens of the City of Salem, we are now accepting credit / debit card payments.
- Must provide photo identification at time of card payment.
- There is a 2.95 % Merchant Service Convenience Fee charged for card processing. Please Note: Convenience Fees are assessed by the processing agent; the City of Salem is not charging or receiving these fees.
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.
- If card payment is declined, you will need to contact the card issuer to resolve.
- Credit Cards are not accepted for tax sale or lien redemption payments.
