City Offices
The City of Salem Holiday Schedule is as follows:
- City Offices will be closed on December 24th and 25th, 2025.
- Offices will reopen on Friday, December 26th, 2025.
- The offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1st, 2026.
- We will reopen on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.
Trash / Recycling
- Trash will be picked up on the normal Wednesday schedule.
- Recycling will not be picked up on Christmas Eve (December 24th).
- Recycling normally picked up on the 4th Wednesday (12/24) will be picked up on the 5th Wednesday (December 31st).
Beginning on January 9, 2026, the recycling schedule will change to every other Friday. The schedule for the year will be sent out next week.
